Re: Limited Work?

It's low supply yes and looking at the performance chart I think we're hitting the ceiling at least my client this morning also reported:

2/7/2009 10:22:33 AM|World Community Grid|Message from server: No work sent
2/7/2009 10:22:33 AM|World Community Grid|Message from server: No work is available for The Clean Energy Project

Speculation, but if Linux/Mac are taking up part of the allocation percent, the available WUs for windows may have shrunk a bit. Just keep a fair buffer like I do... I've got 4 left which on 1 core will last through at least Sunday night.

Re: Limited Work?

From thread i seem to get FAAH WU's more then others.. in the FAAH forum, Jan 21, 2009:
We are currently running RICE, DDDT, and CEP1 at lower priority. FAAH, HCC1 and HPF2 are running at normal priority. -Uplinger

Re: Limited Work?

The quad is on the last... one had, as had the wingman, an identical "fail to write", so lasted 3 instead of the predicted 10 hours, validated, so it will be back to "anything else" for now... going to focus on those projects that don't have 1 CPU year accumulated... who knows a badge or something different will be created in the future for that level. Missing gold on the GC project by under 3 days is not going to happen to this cruncher biggrin

Re: Limited Work?

For what it's worth, I've had at least two CEP WU's in que for at least a week now, having just crunched to gold this weekend. smile

Re: Limited Work?

Wow, A Easynews cruncher on the board with 493 million credit. Wait until WCG starts converting the UD agent points to BOINC credit... you'll have to widen the picture ;>)
