statistics are available also http://boincstats.com here enter your Boinc username and you may see boinc user statistics. ...but they are not up to date as they rely on the stats here being processed.....and they were not. I'm looking at this stats at least 2 times a day and since yesterday I see my updated stats in BoincStats site. ![]() |

So if WCG is not updating their files....where are they coming from?

So if WCG is not updating their files....where are they coming from? It is not the WCG Stats update process which feeds BoincStats, it is Boinc's credits system on the servers which feeds both the WCG Stats process and BoincStats. Cheers. Jean. |

Just saw that Monday stats were about double the Monday morning session of 130 CPU years... 260 and Tuesday, with this 5 hour UTC-EST shift presumably, 186 CPU years.

Question for Kevin -- since you have resumed the process with the servers on EST, do you plan to later correct the stats you are posting while the clocks are wrong, or will they remain as posted?

The stats are being placed into the proper daily 'bucket'. The partial day stats for today that are currently reported, 186:282:02:48:41, is what had been validated at the time we ran the stats. Since this occurred at around 17:00UTC rather than the normal 12:00 UTC it is close to 3/4 of the daily output.
The part of the script that updates the 'last ran at' timestamp is one of the things that counts on the os having the timezone set to UTC. So it shows the wrong time. We really only use the date part of that field for importing the data so the proper data will get imported - there will just actually be 5 hours more data imported than that field suggests. So this means that there will not be any data that needs to be corrected. |

Looks like progress. I see that the UTC time on the statistics is now the real UTC time when they run (5 hours later than normal). Guess that was the easy part.
---------------------------------------- Any ideas on how the rest looks? |

To answer my own question, it looks like the rest may be fixed. It seems that things are back to normal now. Hmm, could the outage earlier today required/reslted in a reboot of something that finally picked up something from one of the earlier changes that had been missed? Who knows (who cares

The size of the spillover of just 1 CPU year showing in the stats history indicates the EST issue was somehow overcome requiring a (involuntary) boot... or a fluke. We'll know this lunchtime, about 13:45 CET.
