Hi all,
----------------------------------------since I changed my username a few days ago, I could no longer access my account. I tried the "forgot member name", but the name sent to me by mail fits my member name. I have created a new account, using the same member name and email. My points have been reset, but my profile on the forum is retained. what is is happening with my account? where are my points and my badges?

In what way did you not get access to your account? Did you maybe change password too? You can ask for all your account information, names and passwords by providing the email address in the recovery options. At least, nothing is lost and assume your BOINC client still shows the credits AND the member name to which the client is associated.

In what way did you not get access to your account? I just changed my username Did you maybe change password too? no, only my username You can ask for all your account information, names and passwords by providing the email address in the recovery options. when I asked for my username, it sent me the good one: Pascal94 when I asked for my password, using my username, it said "unknown username". At least, nothing is lost and assume your BOINC client still shows the credits AND the member name to which the client is associated. yes, under boinc manager, I still have my username, team, and credits. but I couldn't access to my account. I created a new account, but using the same username, password, email, etc... how is it possible ? and now, when I logon, I still have my forum profile, but my credits, my computing profile, my projects, my team, and my results status have been reseted to zero.

Please will you specify the original username, the name you changed it to, and presumably Pascal94 is the new account you created.

Pascal, when you changed it, you did not remove the leading space in the name. Now it's " Pascal94"!
----------------------------------------Simply rename the new pascal94 to something different, sign in to " Pascal94" and remove the space and you should be ok again.

No, but if you send an email to support they can hide it for you.

(The forum feels like the hosting site moved back to Colorado )The updates are slow and bogging everything down. It actually isn't the db that is slow - it is the http server (too many clients asking for work with the schedulers set to maintenance mode). Should be 15 minutes or so before we can feed them work again.... |
