No work getting done!

On this particular machine, I have 4 projects time-sharing but none of them are actually working currently. I have reset the projects, stopped and restarted the tasks to no avail. Here is the startup message; can you see what might be wrong?:

Select World Community Grid in the Projects tab and click "Update". Tell us what happens.

We have an explanation! For some reason, this computer has been failing to return an valid results. To protect the system, your quota has been reduced.

Have a look at your Results Status page, and perhaps we can get an idea of what the underlying problem is.

Other information we need: operating system, BOINC version, security software. Also, it would be useful to know when this problem started.

How about the other questions?

The two prime suspects for this sort of problem are hardware errors and software conflicts (particularly with security software).

Er, yeah! Had to reboot and that reminded me of a different problem:
When I reboot, 2 versions of boinc start. Normally, I kill one immediately but do you think that could be the source of the problem? I have not been able to find out why it happens.

BOINC - 6.2.18
ZoneAlarm - 7.0.483
MS XP - sp2 - v2002
SpyWareBlaster - v4.1
Spybot Search and destroy - 1.6.0.31

Malaria Control flatlined 12/30/8
World Community flatlined 1-17-9
Climate Prediction and Einstein@home both flatlined on or about 1-21-9

Hello Zaacharia,
I would try uninstalling BOINC on the machine with 2 BOINC starts, then install BOINC 6.2.28 as a service. This might not fix the problem, but at least it would put it into a known configuration.
