Hi, GIBA.
Firstly, I see no mention of mobile devices on the Edges site. Am I missing something? Your assumption about the power of phones is wrong. As Nick-MMX's figures (and others I have seen) show, these devices have a tenth the power of decade-old computers. And that is always likely to be the case, even as mobile devices get more powerful. |

I really must be missing something, here. Edges appears to simply be an attempt to extend European academic grid resources with BOINC volunteer grids.

You are right, I mixed two papers here, but all of my coments are involving EDGES...just change Desktops for mobile devices/phones, and you will have a scenario (there are many more information, of course). Unfortunatelly the site were I got this informations don't allow external access for all (just employees). I will try get more detailled and complete information to provide you, but believe me that it are in plan and have people engaged and involve EDGES and BOINC concept.
