Thread: climbing up the top 5,000 is getting very difficult |

I just looked at page 100 in results returned. There is only a difference of 38 between the first and last member on that page. When I first got to page 20 I was a little under 19,000 results. When I finally made it through that page I was a little under 20,000 results so it took me an increase of a 1,000 results to make it through that page. Now I am on page 19 and expect that I will have to increase my results by at least 1,200 to make it through the page.

I noticed that around the top 1,000 I stalled out. I added a computer or two on part time crunching status and have inched up very very slowly since. Sometimes I am up a couple positions, but the very next day I could slide 5 or 10 places.
I really don't mind though. It just shows how many dedicated crunchers we have here and I'll go all the way to last place if it means more people volunteering their computers  P.S. getting ever closer to that big 10,000,000 point milestone |

Well, it's a good job I'm not attempting to get into the top 5,000 - as I've JUST gone over the 1,000,000 mark, and I'm way down at #14,401!!!!
