My Boinc manager has not been able to connect all day, I see the messages below.
27/01/2009 16:09:27|World Community Grid|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. Requesting 95040 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks 27/01/2009 16:09:28||Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site 27/01/2009 16:09:31||Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down. 27/01/2009 16:09:32|World Community Grid|Scheduler request failed: SSL connect error I have tried the two actions here http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=24299 but to no avail. I have upgraded the manager 6.2.28 still no luck. All that I've managed to do so far is lose 24 hours worth of work! Any suggestions? |

I just keep trying to update manually. Eventally it connects and downloads new work. Nelsoc suggested resetting the project in the known issues forum.

Nelsoc suggested resetting the project in the known issues forum. Yeah tried that also, it just lost a whole bunch of work. |

I also tried reset and lost of lot of work -- now I can't download new work units.

FYI anyone from WGC or BOINC reading this, my work PC also has this problem. Seems to me from the replies to the topic and my own experience you guys have a problem, wanna sort it out for us?

Nelsoc suggested resetting the project in the known issues forum. This was not a good advise. I lost all my work.... Suggest editing of that post..... |
