brink, those are lines implemented with the 6.2.28 version of WCG getting kicked. Does not harm, but does uploading work now?

I was looking at my results in "My Grid" and I have noticed that (as far as I can tell) every work unit that need to be "forced to upload" so to speak, shows as an "error work unit".
The log says "fatal uploaded error" Error on upload: invalid signature. 107 work units lost. More to come I'm sure. I'm so discouraged. |

Hi brinktastee.
Please will you add these lines to the log_flags section? <file_xfer_debug>1</file_xfer_debug> <http_debug>1</http_debug> <http_xfer_debug>1</http_xfer_debug> <proxy_debug>1</proxy_debug> |

Hi brinktastee. Please will you add these lines to the log_flags section? <file_xfer_debug>1</file_xfer_debug> <http_debug>1</http_debug> <http_xfer_debug>1</http_xfer_debug> <proxy_debug>1</proxy_debug> I now know why it does not work. Our firewall does content filtering on all http traffic looking for command injection. Since the work units are sent http the binary string will sooner or later have a string that looks like a command injection. Until the work units are sent https most of the work units will fail. |

To help other members, please will you name and shame this over-zealous firewall product?

Checkpoint
----------------------------------------http://www.checkpoint.com/ Edit: The product I'm referring to in this thread is a corporate firewall. Checkpoint is the same company that bought Zone Alarm last year. [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Feb 3, 2009 11:25:06 PM] |
