Hi.
Many thanks for the replies. Aborted the other wus in the queue for that period,however have crunched a few from 308/12 series recently and they appear to be validating normally. Will the new software updates include greater transparency on the work unit web pages? It would be helpful to be able to to check what was happening in the quorum by checking the details of each computer.eg did apple macs and amd machines sail through this bug or was it OS based, Linux and macs no problem only windows. Looking back on this thread it seems to have only affected Intel boxes running Windows. Good luck with the puzzle. Chris. |

Not sure if there is platform homogeneity for RICE. The HPF2 project quorum is x-platform.
----------------------------------------And no, WCG does not show information of devices of someone else. Not heard of any change of position on that. There's enough statistical analysis going around in the server rooms to highlight very specific issues like a very recent AMD case.

Update: It seems that the WU indeed has a problem (was waiting for the return of the last two normal copies, but more errors were generated instead, and those "Inconclusives" now become "Too Late"):

I just noticed four errors in the R00302 family of WUs. They all have logs like this:
