How long should this take?
----------------------------------------Normally my units are validated within hours. The last 2 results are still pending (different projects). One was sent 4 days ago. Didn't have this problem before the move. Patrick  |

There is no time it "should" take. It can vary a lot. You can use your Results Status page to track the progress of the other copies.

It will be validated when another copy of same WU will be calculated on another user's computer. If this user will not return WU in time, it will be sent again with shorter deadline etc. Just wait

Does the results still count for points if the validation comes after the deadline, even though the results were returned within the time?

Does the results still count for points if the validation comes after the deadline, even though the results were returned within the time? Of course yes! Didactylos was probably thinking of other particular cases where a WU coming after its deadline might still get its credits, e.g. if it is returned before the replacement WU. Cheers. Jean. |

I have WU's that is still "Pending Validation" since January 5th.

If you are running a WU that has a 14 day return, then you might have to wait the whole 14 days. If the other copy was sent to a dormant system, then you might have to wait another 2 days for dormant system to time out and the repair WU to be returned. While unlikely, the repair WU could also be sent to a dormant system requiring you to wait for another 2 days.
Therefore, on any WU with multiple copies, the maximum you should expect to wait is 4 days after the return date shown for your WU (date as shown while the WU is running). With HFP2 having a 20 day return, it is possible that you might have to wait 24 days before your WU is validated. |
