Re: Website bugs after hosting site move

That forum message has been hitting a lot of people, including me. I tried to complain about it a few hours ago, but decided to cool off after failing to post 5 times in a row.

Re: Website bugs after hosting site move

knreed posted yesterday that the new location IP 198.20.8.241 is connected to the new URL grid.worldcommunitygrid.org and 198.20.8.246 connects to old URL's www.worldcommunitygrid.org + secure.worldcommunitygrid.org. Have added that to the hosts table. Since then everything navigates perfectly here. Did not even have to boot. Only restarted browser to clean cache and cookie store.

Re: Website bugs after hosting site move

When clicking on the arrow that should take me to the last post in a thread I am instead taken to the beginning of the thread. No biggie but should be fixed when possible.

Re: Website bugs after hosting site move

Posting new bugs in existing threads is not the best way to get them noticed, especially if the bug reported in that thread was already reported as fixed.

Maybe you should post it in a new thread blushing

It's true, but not related to the move, unfortunately.
That will be fixed (hopefully) when the forum software will be upgraded to its current level. Now that UD has been pushed away and that the big effort of the move is near its end we may expect to see this long awaited software upgrade relatively soon.

Cheers. Jean.
