Hi
For a while I have had the rice jobs box UNchecked whilst allowing work from all other projects.Also have the "allow work from other projects if no work available" unchecked. Having decided to do some work purely for the rice project for a short while ,unchecked the others and only had rice checked and updated. I would now expect to get rice work units or a message stating there is no work available for rice or Beta at the moment. The computer however continues to get the usual jobs FAAH,Cancer and HPF. Cannot tell if it is my old settings are stuck at the moment or it is the "My projects page " not working at all. Have retried over the last couple of days. Only a minor thing but it may get up some noses  Brilliant and Quick job on the move. Thanks Chris |

----------------------------------------When you have been retrying have you found boxes correctly checked the way you want, or did it look like your previous choices had been lost? Have you checked if the specific device profile that your client is using has correctly got your "My Projects" choices propagated? Cheers. Jean. |

Thanks for the reply Yes the changes have been holding and the preferences are the same when I go into 'device manager'(default).I do change the choices occasionally and have not had this issue before, not a big thing just means I will not be able to crunch rice or Clean energy project for the moment. Seems like i cant update projects too
----------------------------------------3 days ago i had HCC and HPF2 enabled. Then i checked off HCC and HPF2 and enabled CEP. After a while, i enabled HCC, but still all windows boxes were getting only CEP. Now, due to this bug http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...ad=24058&lastpage=yes i checked CEP off, but still i get only CEP wus (and random on linux/mac boxes). on the website it is updated. but the WU distribution server somehow uses old settings

This was just reported in another thread. Apparently the work on the server has stopped changes to the projects.
Lets wait and see if it mysteriously starts working again. |

dunno is this already fixed or not but after several attempts to change selected projects system finally agreed with me and my selection :)
