Any hints? Thank you in advance, and Happy New Year! -d. |

I also have noted this error message, which is accumulating within the last few days...
My guess is, that it comes from the preparations for the move of the data to the new server location. Bacause I know, that the WCG Techs are very reliable, my prediction is, that this message will disapear for good short after the relocation of the data-center... Cheers Totto |

This message means what it says
---------------------------------------- and it can be seen during the Sunday morning maintenance, for example, or from time to time when there is a particular problem, until the database is accessible again.Like totto73 I think that we can see it more often these last days because of the preparation of the move and that we should not worry, unless it lasts too long, obviously. Cheers. Jean. |

It's taking multiple work requests now to get work. Also see that the due dates for rice are 12 days. It seems logical as the point we are now is closer than 7 days to the end of move date.

The message means that during your scheduler request, BOINC could not open a connection to the database for some reason. Normally, we would be investigating deeply and figuring out why. However, based on a quick check it appears that it is more of the performance problems that we have been experiencing with our growth. Since we are on the cusp of our migration to the faster machines with more RAM, our focus has been on the new environment. Initial testing shows much improved performance (although there is no stress test like having you all pound on the servers
) I will confirm that it is an issue in our environment and not your computer ad that it should go away very soon. |

Yes - once the 7 day deadline crossed over the migration date, we raised the deadline back to 12 days as the short deadline was no longer able to reduce the number of batches 'in flight' |
