angry Strange behaviour after uninstall XP SP3

Some times ago I had to uninstall XP SP3 because my Grid computer is connected to internet wireless and with AMD processor I was experiencing no connection to router. After this, Boinc agent is behaving strange: Running time is increasing slowly an remaining time is increasing constantly by 2 second every second. Any ideas about this ? Now I have 5 H running time 18%, remaining time 334H 28 min and is constantly increasing....

I have reinstalled agent many times without solution.

Thanks

Re: Strange behaviour after uninstall XP SP3

Perhaps it's a coincidence, and you have a problem with a particular task?

I think you should abort it. Let us know what happens after that.

Re: Strange behaviour after uninstall XP SP3

personaly some of my computers are old enough and have other issues that XP SP3 actualy will not run on them...

on all my computers that run xp (only 1 newer than 3 years) only the newist one runs with SP3 installed...

I do not know if its an issue with SP3 or what but for myself i have uninstalled SP3 untill at least the time the people who bring us XP can explain to me why SP3 crashes my computers hardcore

Re: Strange behaviour after uninstall XP SP3

No, the bios is not supporting this feature: is an OLD Amd Athlon 1100 MHz.
