Hi!
----------------------------------------I have some questions concerning the server upgrade that is scheduled for January: - Will there be major downtimes of the servers? Should crunchers expand their cache for some days? - The length of some workunits was extended to relieve the old servers from too much load... will they be shortened again after the update? Thanks in advance! ![]() ![]() |

Hello RKN_frost,
Yes to all. There will be some warning before the outage. Don't bother increasing buffer size until the announcement about outages appears in the Member News in early January. We will be switching to a more advanced version of DB2, so knreed will have a lot to do on the server. Lawrence |
