This may be a dumb question, but how do I add a new device to my profile? Hello Mr. Met, You can add a new device to your profile by downloading and installing Boinc to your new computer. Next you have assign this new device to worldcommunitygrid by using your existing account. Some time later (don't know exactly how long) this new device will show up from My Grid / Device Manager. Hello Mr. Met,
When you install BOINC on a new device. it is assigned to your current default profile. You are allowed 3 profiles (Home, Work and School). If you want your new device to have a different profile, select My Grid - Device Manager and click on the new device. Then use the drop down menu to select a different profile for that device. Device Profile allows you to edit the details of each of the 3 profiles. Lawrence |

This may be a dumb question, but how do I add a new device to my profile? Just a tip: You if you are logged on WCG with your ID, froma internet browser in the new machine that you would like to add to WCG, just download the agent in initial WCG page that automatically will be installed under your ID and team and settings (You can change the settings anyway during the installation).
