Re: What are these errors about?

The error log, not the message log.

If you've already aborted the task, you can retrieve the error log from your Results Status page.

Thanks.

Is this what you are looking for?

Re: What are these errors about?

Not quite. Click in the "Status" column, where it says "Error". You will have to copy the text and paste it here, because the secure pages are only accessible to you.

Thanks again.

(It should look something like this:)

<core_client_version>6.2.28</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<stderr_txt>
Calling initGraphics()
INFO: No state to restore. Start from the beginning.
####Message = NORMAL STOP
called boinc_finish

</stderr_txt>

I checked my "looping" WU . I could not get the log from the result status page, because its status there is "Aborted" instead of "Error".

My error log for the WU I had looked like this (copied from another thread):

<core_client_version>6.2.28</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
too many exit(0)s
</message>
<stderr_txt>
Calling initGraphics()
INFO: No state to restore. Start from the beginning.

</stderr_txt>

Re: What are these errors about?

Since I aborted this WU, this is all I got from the result log:

<core_client_version>6.2.19</core_client_version>

Re: What are these errors about?

FYI
The same problem occured today on two of my Intel Q6600 PCs. crying
'Loop'-time has been some 20 minutes.
Restart doesn't work. I've aborted both WUs.

EDIT
(Now I've upgraded to WCG BOINC 6.2.28 from BOINC 6.2.19.)
