I am running CEP exclusively on a C2D and have been getting a litany of these error codes:
----------------------------------------12/8/2008 7:55:58 PM|World Community Grid|Restarting task E000006_988A_00011b00e_1 using cep1 version 619 12/8/2008 8:01:46 PM|World Community Grid|Task E000006_988A_00011b00e_1 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file 12/8/2008 8:01:46 PM|World Community Grid|If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project. I have done a computer restart, and it still persists. . . . anyone else getting this? I have suspended this WU. . . should it be aborted? I had one WU that did this a day or so ago. I can't remember if I've ever had one of them before.
After searching on the forums here I decided to abort it. |

zero status is perky, an FAQ exists to do some checks, but if the source is the same is not clear. What BOINC? I've not seen this error, sporadic or frequent with WCG's BOINC 6.2.28 which uses better internal communication.

I've not seen this error, sporadic or frequent with WCG's BOINC 6.2.28 which uses better internal communication. I'm running BOINC client version 6.2.19 for windows_intelx86, would it help to upgrade? |

Doubt it helps, though re-installing as protected/unprivileged running full service may work. Have you visited the FAQ: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=16784 and checked the possibles? It is/was a timekeeping thing, so possibly something is interfering. AV/Firewall the usual suspects but it used to be also the Windows clock syncing.

The error log, not the message log.
If you've already aborted the task, you can retrieve the error log from your Results Status page. Thanks. |
