Re: When for Mac/Linux?

I have Mac G5 quad here, almost always idle. It needs something to do.

Re: When for Mac/Linux?

I guess there's not much of a rush to get the *n?x client ready since there's already a virtual shortage of CEP work units.
But of course, I'm waiting somewhat impatiently as well.. tongue

shock Re: When for Mac/Linux?

The Linux and Mac clients should be available very soon. Most probably, the week of December 8th!

Cheers,
The CEP team.

Tick tock.. tick tock.. ;) 7 Macs here all with nothing to do for CEP still... :( what's up? Heck, even my one PC isn't getting any work packets from CEP anymore... Has the whole project come to a stand-still? :O

Re: When for Mac/Linux?

Hello AppleTV,
I think that some errors were reported for the Beta work units. We may have to run some more Beta units soon.

rose Re: When for Mac/Linux?

Whenever you serve work units my MacPro3,1 will crunch them.

You're wasting your shot at a piece of this 80 GigaFLOPS tower ...

Re: When for Mac/Linux?

Well...while your waiting for a CEP work unit go ahead and crunch a cancer unit or some other project work unit. Don't let them sit idle! wink
