Hi,
Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I have been searching in the forum and I haven't found a similar question. Up until last month my computer used to run two units from WCG at the same time via BOINC. However, now it downloads two units but runs only one at a time. I haven't changed any of my preferences on WCG or BONIC and I don't connect to any other projects besides WCG. Did WCG change the amount of work units that can be run at the same time? Thanks! |

Hi,
----------------------------------------Did you upgrade from 5.10.45 to 6.2.28 ? If so look in the BOINC Manager, Advanced View Interface, Local Preferences screen, Processor Tab, what it says for "On Multiprocessor systems..." field. If it's less than 100% on a duo it will just use 1 core. ttyl

An easy one and once again highlights why "I haven't changed any of my preferences on WCG or BOINC" always throws up the "Really, what else changed in the environment?"
