Re: WCG SPORTS Presents: The 2008 Aids Day Competitions!

The point normally missed by many, is that we do this as a world together. The work we do by crunching is really the short end of the value stick. The real gain comes when you look at the vastness of the domain we crunch in. You see a world working together to aid science for the benefit of the common good. It is through this that we see past our differences, and go forth as a world people united. Showing the way to a brighter future, not just by crunching, but by example a well.

Sek, realize that we have our differences, but here we seem to push them aside. Geo and I also don’t see eye to eye on everything, but here we have our eyes on 1 thing. In fact if you think about it, the 3 of us working together to produce the last "big race" thread, is a testament to this quote. WCG SPORTS itself is a concept that was born to express the meaning of the longer end of the stick. Something I enjoy you take part in. For as we together announce the races, we also point out the "point normally missed".

So, in the end, it doesnt matter to me what game type we play. Its the fact we are playing one together.

Oh and I should go look for the place I found that quote. Hehe, I forgot, its me.

Sek, you are getting what you want. But are you too busy being king to notice or care?

Very honestly, I'm working on a race that starts at the end of this month. It has taken 2 months and will take 3 more to successfully complete this task. The debate now is whether I release at all, scrapping all the work up until now, just like last year.

You remember, back when I was the big bad guy. You know when I found the playing field for the challenge system so fouled, that releasing anything would have just brought embarrassment to WCG and the team challenge system. You know, when I’m told that this isn’t a problem. That WCG don’t care how it looks to the world. Then I will have to ask this question, "Why is something so worthy, so small?"

Please realize, this is not a question I am personally asking. It is the most asked question by those who email me through my website. For those who have the savvy, look at this place and wonder why they should believe, as this place clearly don’t care how it looks. Oh, im not talking about the challenges. They at least add some color. They are talking about WCG itself.

So if you want to look like a flock of sheep, that is fine by me. Play tic-tac-toe as much as you like. But when you find out that you need more, I will explain that I can’t help. Because I will have to spend too much time explaining to others that I’m sorry that they don’t care how they look.

Oh and one more thing. I'm not the person that coined the term "sheep" when it comes to WCG. The bandits that came from here and raided grid.org used it. On their return, as the left after being unsuccessful, the phrase used was "back to the sheep, I guess". This means that the primary feeding factor to the creation of this forum was grid.org malcontents. So stop coming to me unless you stop being them.

Realize this could have been a private email, but you seem to be to busy being king to allow any pee-on’s like me to have any way to co-ordinate this thread, as requested.
