hello to all crunchers....especially the ones from croatia...
since world aids day is near and a team challenge on fight aids at home is about to start i thought it would be nice & fun to participate so i tried to contact our capitain in order to do that.... unfortunately all i got was this message "There is not currently a captain of your team, or the captain of the team has not opted-in to receive E-mails from members of the team. " since the team officialy has a capitain he obviusly opted out on these emails or has retired ?!?! dunno whats that about...i mean if ure a capitain...i think it would at least be polite  to recieve emails from your team members...do you agree?anyway i'd like ppl from our team to say wht they think bout that and maybe someone who'd like to be our capitain in the future to reply to this...or even better if our capitain is out there maybe he would like to shine some light on this subject... maybe its too late for the aids day challenge, but we can work something out for future ones... thx pozdrav |

This is the reason I chose not to join team Croatia and instead created BOINC-Croatia.
I had hoped to contact the team captain of team Croatia and ask him to change the name of the team to 'BOINC-Croatia' b/c this team name had a presence across a number of BOINC projects (Climateprediction.net, Eienstein@home, Rosetta etc) but did not exist in WCG. B/c of no email, I couldn't contact the team captian so I created BOINC-Croatia as a new group. By having BOINC-Croatia in WCG, we can add to the points accumulated from other BOINC stats and have the team progress on the overall BOINC leaderboard (which aggregates points from a number of projects - see http://boincstats.com/ or http://boinc.netsoft-online.com/e107_plugins/boinc/bp_home.php or http://www.allprojectstats.com/). Hence I would encourage team Croatia members to join the BOINC-Croatia team. C'mon over to Serious Crunchers and visit until you get sorted - we're pretty international niice....but i'd rather stay with my team... seriously...we got 200+ members and none reply to this... whats with that... |

Wasn't around for some time now? Did someone ever solved this captain problem. I was here almost from the beginning, and even then captain was MIA...

Not resolved - however I do have a proposed resolution. The team players can port over to my team, BOINC-CROATIA, which does have a team captain - moi!
Wasn't around for some time now? Did someone ever solved this captain problem. I was here almost from the beginning, and even then captain was MIA... |
