I'm a student at Cornell University, and I'm limited to 2GB of uploading/downloading per month. I was just wondering if anyone has a rough estimate of how much network usage the Agent consumes in one month. Thanks.

I e-mailed tech support and received a prompt reply that completely answered my question. This is an excerpt from the e-mail in case anyone had the same concern as me:
"The agent will initially download about 5 megabytes. After each work unit there will be about one megabyte of upload and about another one for the new work unit. Depending on your processor speed you might be able to finish a work unit as early as one day, However, the average is expected to be about a week. Perhaps once a month, there might be a 5 megabyte download for a newer version of the software. That is about it." Hope this helps. |

Holy cow, well the message you received answers alot of peoples questions about how long these units will take. I have averaged 2.5 days per unit, but their guess is about 7 days a unit. Some seriously intense processes going on here.
