Make sure the BROWSER environment variable is set correctly. That's how BOINC identifies the default browser.

FF itself controls the default condition in the starting phase...( and send a message if it is not in the default status ). [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 21, 2008 8:39:51 AM] |

Here is a FAQ 'How to set up your default browser in Linux?' at http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?langu...1683b497d4cee0b118fd540ad Thanks it works. This is the path to rather the default browser.... I'd written it before in .basrc and it worked when "firefox" was written on a terminal .... but it was not enough in this case. Thanks again. |
