Want to share cancer experience!!

Hello everyone, I am working in a private firm and here I am looking for some information. Actually I am a cancer patient and looking for a source where I can discuss cancer related problems and share my experiences with other people. When I heard that I am suffering from cancer I was felling uneasy but that time my family friends helped me a lot and encouraged to fight the situation. So, if you people have any idea where I can talk about cancer then please let me know.
Any help will be really helpful. Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Re: Want to share cancer experience!!

It’s really a difficult time when you have come to know that you are suffering from a disease like cancer. It is very good that there is support from your family and friends. I know a site http://www.dearcancer.org/ where you can write about cancer. It’s a place where you can share your feelings, thoughts and experience about cancer. Hope this information will help you and here you can share every thing what you fell about cancer.

Re: Want to share cancer experience!!

As well as the place recommended by Patricksmith I suggest you try us right here, you can be very frank with us as we either have had or have cancer ourselves, are in remission or are supporting a loved one and his/her problems right now with all our might . You will find lots of support and understanding and a willingness to share with you whatever fears and worries you might have. Welcome! smile

Re: Want to share cancer experience!!

Hi GeorgeSteve,

I don't know where you are writing from, but Macmillan in the UK is good, http://share.macmillan.org.uk/Share/Forums/?category=49

If you have a more common cancer, there may be chatrooms elsewhere run just for it as well, but it depends on the type. I find that the more specialised boards have been the most helpful, since there are so many variants of cancer.
