 Folk, very bad news from hard rains and huge flows disasters in South of Brazil... many cities isolated, many people died, many beautiful cities destroyed... a complete calamity which we did not saw in last decades in Brazil... many greenies here, include me, believe that this kind of disasters happened due the climate chage bad effects. Last year we watch the first Hurricane in Brazil and in South Atlantic history... just few kilometers sea inside from this coastal disaster area along cost of Santa Catarina state in south Brazil region. Sorry the opositors of climate change but it is impossible do not linkage one happened with another fact... All Brazilians united here to rebuilding disasters areas and help people that lost all of yours lifes in that zone. Gib@ more bad news: more than hundred people died during the disaster happened during the hard rains in Santa Catarina. Thousand people isolated in yours houses or in some cases localities... need focus on, need your help please !

Hi all,
----------------------------------------the situation remain under critical status in Santa Catarina state, south of Brazil. Materials help arrive in tons, and by now some kind of specific help are need (beside financial help on official governement website mentioned in the post): Our brothers and sisters need immediatelly: - tons of detergents - tons of soup in powder - tons of desinfectants - tons of medical supply, specially first aid row materials and anti-biotics medicines from all kinds against gram positives and negatives bacterias - many troops of specialized human help volunteers (nurses, doctors, drivers, security people, logistical experts, rebuilding disaster areas experts volunteers) - tons and tons of stockable basic foods (beens, rice, sugar, coffee, milk in powder, chocolate in powder, etc) - german/portuguese speakers/translators volunteers (yes, German ! once Santa Catarina state in Brazil was populated by German imigrants and they descendents and once in many isolated areas and cities inside the state, the people use to talk German as first language mainly considering aging people with more than 60/70 years that need help and some comfortable talk with German speakers companions). - Tri-phasic basic eletrical material to rebuilding quickly power transmission lines below 380 V and so on. remember, finalcial help will be a great plus. Thank in advance in name of Brazilain brothers and sisters reached in this disaster.
