Issue

I have a computer at home which runs 24/7 but does not have internet access. Can I somehow bring working units for this computer via my notebook (connected to internet every day)? Both of the computers have BOINC agents.
Thanks for ideas.

Re: Issue

Hello jkislenko,
Not really. BOINC has so many cross-checks that this sort of activity will eventually collapse under a blizzard of error messages from the server.

You can find a lot about the early history of distributed computing on this site: http://distributedcomputing.info/index.html

The history explains why so many cross-checks are necessary to avoid malicious computer users.
