Processor rating change

My Agent was stuck. When I tried to reset it, it didn't take. So I manually removed and reinstalled the WCG software. I logged back in with the same profile information. However, even though I have the same machine and the "comparison processor" used for ratings is the same, my processor rating fell from 153 to 100.

Re: Processor rating change

Please read the second paragraph of the Community Maintained FAQ at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=1505. It explains that,
...when the WCG agent is first installed and the first Work Unit is downloaded the benchmark is not completed and so, for your first work unit only, you will be allocated your points as though you had a 1.5Ghz Pentium in your PC i.e. 100 – good news for some and bad news for others.
