Didactylos, with all due respect, I must disagree with you on this matter. Many crunchers have railed about this subject at different Team web sites. I am tired of (I am using my backup business PC; my main PC is currently down for the 'count') having to nurse my Boinc client when a completed work unit takes 4-7 hours to become a "result". I have googled this complaint and I could not find a credible answer. Some cruncher has solved this (for himself) using a: For an answer, look at the unofficial BOINC-WIKI, specifically at Ready to Report, or, the WCG-FAQ-entry mentioned in Sekerob's post. For anyone running a single BOINC-project and having a permanent connection and runs 24/7, after Task-1 has finished and shows "Ready to report", during running of Task-2, client will most of the time ask for more work, and therefore also reporting Task-1. So, if units takes 4-7 hours to run on a computer, on average a result will wait 2-3.5 hours before it's reported. It's possible you'll manage to finish 2 short 4-hour-tasks before both is reported at once, but it's doubtful you'll run 2 long 7-hour-tasks to end without the 1st. finished is reported... I have 10 completed wu's just sitting there saying ready to report and 4 running and 6 ready to start, the ready to report have been sitting there since yesterday.
----------------------------------------I just reinstalled this yesterday, but shouldn't it be sending some of these finished wu's by now? or does it take a few days. I have my settings set to 0.3 days the default. I looked at the Wiki but it did not really help me. Thanks    myonlineteam.org/i |

The WU Results have already been send else you'd have "Uploading" in the Status column and Files to send in the Transfer tab of BOINCmgr. Wait until your client is calling for work and they will clear, else if you cant wait till BOINC hasmade up it's mind, go to the Projects Tab, select WCG and hit the Update button.
----------------------------------------But, what was the Question you could not find the answer to as we like to clarify that in our own FAQ?
