Systray icon still works i.e. just start up the BOINCmgr and use snooze or suspend. Exit the mgr any time. It will leave the service running.
----------------------------------------It's now too late, did you maybe switch off ""While Computer Is In Use"", probably not, to only compute when the PC is not in use? If so the time for that option needs to be 1 minute shorter as your 13 minutes for the BOINC screensaver. For any other screensaver it does not matter. The last time RICE application version was updated was Jun 18,'08., so it that should not have been a factor, lest the application is somehow not whole anymore. A project reset would force a download of a new science app set. ciao
