Is there a way.....

Where the data it took each WU to process on clients to be shared?

Don't need to know which client did it but would like to have the the following data:

Project Name: Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2
Created: 08/03/2008 19:39:29
Name: lv763_00018
Minimum Quorum: 15
Initial Replication: 19
The large number of copies sent out for this workunit is due to the unique nature of this project.
We encourage you to read the FAQs about this project for more information.

I'd like to do some analysis on the data... notice, there's nothing in the data identifying any client, it's location or anything else that would identify any user.

If I could get this data via FTP that would be good... I'll be happy to share my data back with you after I get it completed.

I can't imagine finding a better source for some comparative data like this than this site, so I'd really appreciate it.

Re: Is there a way.....

WCG positively does not supply data on any host. Members have the choice to opt-IN to allow export of basic host data which for instance at BOINCstats is used to sort and compare production type information like the Recent Average Credit.

@Tedi, please move this thread to website support.

thanks

Re: Is there a way.....

Sekerob,

Um... er.... uhhhhh.... Hmmmmm.... leme see now...

First let me get this straight.. I'm certainly not trying to pick any fights... I'm just trying to get some understanding and do some modeling research for a project I'm working on for myself. biggrin

If your statement above about not providing data about any host is true, then in theory I would not have been able to obtain the data that was shared from your own website with me in the first place.

So what in that data is sensitive that identifies ANYONE at all ... I'm confused!

I did find a link where some data can be externalized but thus far, I've not been able to get it downloaded... so i don't know what's in it nor it's applicability to what I'm trying to observe.
