Constructive criticism re communications

Been quite a while since I've posted in this forum as I've been rather satisfied with things. With the number of projects we have going now, I would like to suggest a small standardization for project/overall communications. In order to keep my ability as a cruncher to stay current on project changes easy and simple, would it be possible to post the initial notification of a change/issue in Member News/Known Issues and, since those are read only, include a link to a thread in the individual project forum for discussion of the change, issues and problems with it, and such? By being able to regularly follow Member News and Known Issues, I can then stay informed about all of the projects and, when relevant to me, I can easily follow any discussion of the matter instead of having to follow every project forum as well. I know checking each project forum is not onerous but simplicity is often a key predictor of our ability to retain members, minimize redundant threads and keep cruncher satisfaction high.
