I was running BOINC WGC. I used Add-Remove programs to remove/uninstall it.
Tried to re-install and it fails.
Can't use the Service option as I 'don't have permissions' What does it need? I'd prefer to run as a service.
Can't use the either of the user options successfully.
It will install but fails to download work:

It just stay's stuck on 'Retreiving current status' finally 'unable to connect to the core client'

It seems that client_state.xml is locked and can't be changed -or deleted.
Also, the entire BOIC directory still exists in my Program Files.
Can't delete it as client_state.xml is in use. BOINC is still all over my registry.

my only Project is WCG.

How can I *get*rid* of this program if I want?
and how can I reinstall it if I want?
