Hi Everybody,
We received our last results from the WU of this phase of the project. Now we have a lot of processing analysis and to do. The University of Cape Town team would like to thank everybody who donated their computers to this research and to the people who really tried but couldn't get a WU too (sorry about that). The results for this phase will help us to design the experiments to the future phase of AC@H and we will definitely work on ways of producing many many WU's (and lighter ones too) so everybody can be a part of this exciting project. Regards, Sean Both IBM and UCT teams wish to start phase 2 by the end of the year, but we need to complete some stages of analysis and experiment design first. You can rest assure that we'll keep the users updated via forum and project website. |

A chart of the last work it took to complete phase I. It looks like the final quorum needed was completed on June 19. It took 12,066 CPU days (33 CPU Years) and 33,028 results to get 82 quadrants of 30x30 kilometers in size completed covering 27 simulation cycles of 14 day periods (just over 1 year).
