These MOT Team threads and some of the others can get real long. To get to the last Post: BEFORE you enter the Thread look to the right of the Thread Box. There should be a tiny Blue Icon. It will take you to the last page of the thread. All you need then is to scroll down to the last post. Hope this helps! |

We have once again seen tragic & devastating events taking place in SE Asia.

Morning Crew,
----------------------------------------I have received an email from MWAYNE saying that I don't give enough credit to the "little people" of the team. So I am here to right that wrong.  As a single device member myself - despite what my device count may say - I fully appreciate how much commitment it takes to gather together those points. I've managed just 87000 in 123 days and my PC is on 24/7 running the team website. We can't all be Michael Schumachers like CompuDude who's setup can only be described as a Ferrari. Most of us are just driving a Minardi but at least we're taking part in the same race  and not just sitting there as a spectator.When I look at the ranking list I keep an eye out for where Dave Bell is as he has just got the better of me at the moment and I want to keep him in sight. jasnyder and Co have just whistled past me (I'm down another 2 places overnight) but my little friendly battle is with Mr Bell. Your doing a grand job Dave btw. My Online Team would not find itself where it is today without the contribution of the whole team from those first 134 points posted by eliac yesterday right through to the top So please be assured that your Team Captain appreciates everyones continued support of the little BIG team. When I look at the ranking list I keep an eye out for where Dave Bell is as he has just got the better of me at the moment and I want to keep him in sight. Dave -- I have to admit that I keep an eye on where you are as well We have been walking in lock step for quite a while now. Of course you have a two and a half week advantage on me as I didn't join the team until December 4. Your single system is doing pretty well for itself. I have been running 2 systems 24/7 since the first of January (a 2.4 GHz P4 and I'm not sure the speed of my old P3 in the back that I keep around for my sons when they visit). I did celebrate a bit of a milestone yesterday when I watched the "pointometer" roll over the 100,000 mark since joining the WCG. The big celebration will come in a couple of weeks when I hit that for the team.Your friend and team mate, |

If the little people would post a message we could encourage them I did not mean to impugn anyone but we must speak up to be heard. Thankyou Not only that, but it takes a whole team to keep our momentum up. We had some network upgrades here at work yesterday, necessitating pulling the renderfarm offline most of yesterday, and all night. It's back up now, but our progress towards the next goal definitely stuttered a bit as a result of my small point posting yesterday.  That said, the TEAM total continued rising, even without my computers contributing, because of everyone else on the team! Let's keep those fans working hard, everyone!  |

To all of my team members,
----------------------------------------At the moment Marysduby and I are in a battle for 9th place... that is for the next couple of days after that it will be 10th... 11th etc etc We both push our machines to the the top of their limits, poke each other, and try to have a pleasant time at the same time. We both believe we do the right thing here and that every CPU cycle counts, and we both hope to crunch the key WU that will end a dreadfull disease like cancer, polio..... My dream is to tell my grand children about how humanity ( their granddad a.o ) conquered these diseases...... I am glad that this big amount of top 100 crunchers chose to crunch with the MOT, it will help to make my dream come thrue !!! Friends, we are on a mission...
