I guess i wasnt over the Mono--i just cant seem to get over this--lucky for me i have a daughter in Delaware and she picked me up---Dataman i hope you are safe from the fires Sorry to hear you are not completely over it. Bad enough to be ill at home but away from home is even worse. No fires near me. The two big ones are on the coast. I heard on the local news that there have been over 1,300 that have burned 10 acres or more since fire season "officially" began. A lot of the ones in NoCal have been from dry lightning strikes but there has been some arson too. Get better soon. ![]() ![]() |

Health and safety comes first. *waves to Dave and I whiz by* So I have orientation for college at the end of next week. I'm sitting here scratching my head on the classes. I don't think it can get any more confusing.. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jul 6, 2008 2:47:36 AM] |

Wow. Quite the day for milestones!
---------------------------------------- Great work for the summertime too! I see we've past the 900K mark on results as a team. Got me curious and did some figuring. We have 97,819 result to go to return our millionth result. Based on the last 30 days, we are averaging 349 results a day. That means we have 280 days to go which would be spring/easter time next year. Wonder if we could make that by year end? Would definitely be a push! |

Grunt....groan....ooof! Took my five year old daughter out tonight to see the little fireworks show in "town". Had an excellent viewing spot. My neck is still sore from looking so far up (they were shooting the fireworks off across the street from us). Keith -- I had a much nicer viewing angle from my apartment, a couple miles from the fireworks. I took this video of the finale to our show. Nice Dave. I'd say we were no more that about 2000 feet or so from where they were shooting ours off. You could hear the WHUMP of the launch pretty well. For a city-paid show, it ran a good 20-25 minutes. Bit more than I expected plus they didn't have the "long" waits between shots so nice quantity. Interesting to see from up that close. |
