Really low points lately.. I didn't even make it on top 10.  yeah, i'm barely hanging on! WTF? 1. Summer is here in force now. 2. I think some of the projects have longer running WUs now. Changes like that will impact things until the "wavefront" passes. Quad is taking 10 hours to process one work unit for AIDS.. They're getting longer and longer. 8:30 for me |

I was away this weekend and I went back and looked at my FA@H jobs on the Q6600's for the past few days. None exceeded 7:45 and most were around 7:00. MOT gained a team position in BOINC combined credits last week. I got my electricity bill.   Also had to fill up one of the trucks yesterday ... $4.42.9/gal ...$70.88 for 16 gallons. Cheers!  |

Need to check my Quad. It needs a new mobo. The mobo it's on isn't designed for a Quad.. it was free with the Quad so I'm guessing it is supposed to work. Well, that should give everyone some interesting reading to do for a bit!
---------------------------------------- I am definitely encouraged by the fact that we are still on pace to break 70 million this year. That's quite an improvement over last year! Mushball appears to be our biggest active mover. A WHOLE BUNCH of milestones in six months too! I'm a bit shocked to find myself breaking into the Top Ten for June and the year no less. Boy, it adds up fast! Much will be determined over the next two months. WCG as a whole I think sees a bit of a drop off in the summer and we do too. We're already seeing fewer members returning results each day and I think that's more summer than the end of UD. One point to note is that we had the fortune and benefit of two visits from the Base Campers. That 36+ million so far is all on our own. In six months, we've already done 70+ percent of what we did last year! Let's hope for cool weather for the rest of the summer and blow last year's 50+ million out of the water!! |
