confused Statistics are not updating on 2nd comp [RESOLVED]

HELLO,
Few days ago I installed BOINC on my second computer. Both of the computers share one WCG account. The WUs of the first comp keep getting updated, but the WUs of the second appear as "In Progress" at the "Results Status" section on my profile, even though I finished couple of WU's there. In addition the value of "Device Installations" isn't updating either and stays "1".

Is this normal and should take several days to update?

Hi,

1. The devices should immediately appear in the Device Manager section of My Grid, but wont show in My Statistics until work has been validated and points /run time hours scored.

2. If your agent is contacting the same account at least when you hit the Update button in the Projects Tab of BOINC, after selecting WCG, it should show the same cumulative BOINC credit total as on your other computer. Does it?

3. How do you know the completed work was reported? Assuming your second computer continues to work, does the Result Status page show new work being submitted to this computer?

1. The second comp appears in the "Device Manager" section.
2. Yes, only after clicking on update it showed the same numbers. In addition in the second computer at the "task" tab there was a WU reported as completed, after I clicked update it disappeared.

While I was writing this reply the the second computer WU status updated to " Pending Validation". I think it updated only because I clicked the update button. Do i need to do this manually from now on?

To be precise, for efficiency sake, work Results files are reported whenever BOINC is allowed, but wont send the part 2 "Ready To Report" (RtR) to the scheduler until it is time, which can take up to 24 hours. If the client goes out to fetch new work it will also clear the RtR status lines.

So all is well. Please edit your opening post title and append [RESOLVED] like this post, so all know it's one worry less.
