Installed BOINC but UD did not automatically uninstalled. How to fix problem?

Hi... I just installed BOINC, but UD did not automatically uninstalled as promised in the E-mail that told me to get an update, and now both programs are running simultaneously on my laptop, on two different projects (one running FightAids and the other running the Proteome Folding) and killing my CPU. sad

Does anyone know how to get rid of UD, and maybe even transfer the project that UD is currently half-finished in running to the BOINC? Thanks very much for your help.

Sorry about that. When using the WCG installer for BOINC you should have had the question to uninstall UD or not. On yes it should have removed the software.

What to do if it did not:

Right-click the UD agent icon in the Start bar System Tray (light blue WCG logo

) and Exit to stop the program.

Go into the windows start-bar menu > Programs > Startup and Right-click the WCG agent icon (the light blue one) and delete the shortcut.

Go to control panel, software applications and uninstall WCG UD agent (not WCG BOINC agent)

Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files\WorldCommunityGrid\ or United Devices and delete any file remnants.

You should be clear now and upon booting only the BOINC icon (yellowish circle with 4 spikes) or the WCG BOINC (darker blue logo) should appear in the System Tray.
