Hi Guys...
----------------------------------------sorry for ask something trivial but I do not be a hardware-Guru so please forgive ;) Under Load of Benchmarking Programms or Games (like FSX) my Intel Core2 Quad the Cores reach 38C-42C. Now with Boinc run at full throttle it goes fromC 46-50C. (I can look realtime on my G15 Keyboard) But I think 50C is a safe operation Temperature, isnt??? Will a CPU at 100% break earlier? I think not if temp stays in the green band, not? I suppose a CPU@100% with 50C is safer than a CPU@50% at 75C ... ;) Andreas [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at May 24, 2008 7:54:09 PM] |

That should be perfectly safe for any CPU. Maximum safe operating temperatures range from 60 degrees to 100 degrees celcius, depending on the CPU type.

Your temps are fine.
