(edit:) for some reason it updated after I posted this message. Wierd [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 22, 2008 4:41:02 AM] |

Hi tcraig2,
The Internet is full of caches with old web pages on them, starting off with your own computer. Usually problems like this occur on the local computer, though there are other possibilities. Lawrence |

Milestone: Passed 10% and extrapolated the project will finish earlier than previously calculated (by undersigned). Maybe as early as Aug.'09 if things keep going the way they're still doing this summer season. Somewhat more than 17 million tasks to crunch.
----------------------------------------Yellow dots: Completed Blue dots: Currently processing Purple dots: Not yet started Status report Aug. 28, 2008 says 6,800 out of 40,000 proteins are complete or 17%. Work units done 4,370,000 out of 19,000,000 is approx 23%.

The blue dot progress chart is pretty darn sweet. It would be cool to do a time-lapse video of a few of them sometime down the road :)

Is that the correct progress # 12.91% as of 18 July? Thanks! |

Yes it was Mark, plus minus a fraction since the midday value was an extrapolation through the end of the day.... not coming down to the exact day and now well over 21 percent . Depending on the current / average speed, the project could complete as early as Jun-09 but prudently it's Sep-09 (on current data set ;>).
----------------------------------------Whilst, 2 consecutive days of production records for this project, the day before passing 50 CPU years, yesterday over 57 CPU years. [Edit: Day records established on Aug 29, 2008 now stand at 58.4 CPU years and 63,806 Results. Records are marked on Performance Chart footer in blue ]

It was murder trying to find this crunching chart for Nutritious Rice. This thread needs a bump back to the top. I do hope that they will implement pinned posts ASAP, or just replace the current forum software with one of those popular ones such as PHPWind and Discuz!. The current one is too ancient, and we somehow are using a Release Candidate version rather than an official release. |
