G'day folks, its been a while since i've been here so I figured i'd check in. Winters set in down here in Perth, and its been raining regularly the past week. I love waking up to the sound of rain, but not so much the getting out of the warm bed into the cold world. Having said that, judging by some of the recent posts of you lot in the US, its seems mildly warm on that side of the world.. I'm also at university now, so my free time has been painfully sucked up by that. Although right now I'm enjoying a month and a half holiday before the next semester .. A hello also to all the fresh new faces of MOT!Take care everyone. Marc. Where are you in University? Blizzie is off to engineering school (Cal State was it?) and I'm in a master's program at Harvard. Keep in touch! |

I'm a first year at Murdoch University, its nothing fancy but its one of the few universities that offer computer forensics as a course in Australia. I'm doing a double major in computer science and computer forensics although none of the fun stuff starts until the third year. Masters program at Harvard, eh? Sounds very impressive. What are you studying? |

What are you studying? I started out as a two-year Masters in Theological Studies candidate, but now I'm leaning towards the three-year MDiv (Master of Divinity) degree. This will allow me to be ordained as a Humanist minister, and to apply to be a University Chaplain. |

UCSC for me.
Stanford's Folding@Home use released a Beta of their GPU Folding Client. (Video card folding client). They are so fast... yet use much electricity. Up up goes the bill. Anyone know if we're going to have one for WCG? |

Anyone know if we're going to have one for WCG? From what has been posted by Nelson and Kevin, there are no plans to do so until someone brings a project to WCG that runs it. ![]() ![]() |

Marc, good to hear from you again. Feel free to post here as often as you can. I can imagine you'll get to deal with some rather interesting situations going into computer forensics. Would love to hear more.
---------------------------------------- Great milestone Coingames! Don't be a stranger here. Let's get some more Continental perspective in our thread. Thanks to everyone for hanging in there with us thru the summertime (Up Above-speaking)! We're definitely do much better than I would have guessed - so far anyway. We have no problem with all these kids talking about all their college stuff. Let's balance that out with us old farts comparing ailments and meds! Heck, let's discuss whatever we can! ![]() |
