The Active Moons Of Saturn

Like midnight taggers, Saturn's moons Dione, Tethys, Mimas and Rhea may be spraying their unique signatures all over Saturn's environment when no one's looking. Or maybe not; they've never been caught in the act, unlike their sibling moon Enceladus, which has been repeatedly observed shooting a dramatic plume of ice vapor high above its surface.

Astronauts have completed their third and fin...onal Space Station (ISS).

American Robert Behnken and UK-born Nicholas Patrick finished a five-hour 48-minute outing to put finishing touches to the Tranquility Node.
Among other tasks, they prepared the module's new observation deck, or "cupola", for its first opening......

Newly released UFO files
from the UK government

Files released in February 2010
The files contain a wide range of UFO-related documents covering the years 1994-2000.
Find out more about close encounters, strange illnesses, flying ‘Toblerones’ and unidentified objects tracked on radar.

From this website

Start by reading our highlights guide (PDF, 254kb) to help you navigate your way through the files.

Due to the large size of some of these files, we recommend you save them to your PC before opening them. Please right click on the links and select the ‘save’ option.

sad Re: The Space News Thread

It is very sad news for all enthousiasts of human exploration of space. Barack Obama, the US president has decided to cancel the Constellation program, Ares launcher, Orion capsule etc. etc. from the NASA budget. I know he has never been very interested in space issues. But how better to have a long term vision for humanity other than with human space exploration and go to Mars, take up the challenge and say YES WE CAN!!. For the first time he says NO WE CANNOT!.
Going to Mars is not a target any more and if we consider Obama stays for another term, then at least for the next 25 years Mars will stay a dream.
I hope still to live long enough to see the first human on Mars but start having serious doubts.
