It's a pity the BOINC client network prefs do not allow to select a "do not connect" override option box. Then one could have entered e.g 18:00-21:00 e.g. to tell the client to stop the comms automatically during that maintenance period and select in the activity menu "network based on network preferences".

I have already suggested to improve these schedule definitions in Didactylos's thread BOINC: Roadmap (we want your input!) in July last year.

I didn't expect to see a lot of people posting to this thread. The end result is that the other computer completed its job, and my job was declared as an error. So another computer is now doing what my computer already did. :( Below is the log in my status - not sure if it means anything.
