confused newbie question - multiple pc's

I have a two pc network at home (connected wirelessly). Currently the grid is only installed and running on 1 of them (Started it today!, yes I confess, I read about it on BBC online!.)

Anyway I can't seem to find any instructions/guidance to consolidate the points collected when I load it up on the other PC.

Is it as easy as 'install it', use the same user name and away you go?

Also does the processing take a back seat (in CPU terms) when using the pc for other tasks, thought the loadup for an application was longer since running it?

cool Re: newbie question - multiple pc's

Read the 'New Computer' thread at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=1150 . If you have your computers networked then running the Network Wizard ought to establish 'Internet Connection Sharing' so that you can access the Internet from both computers. Then you can download and install the WCG Agent normally. While installing, during the login process, check the box on the screen that says 'Previous member', then use your normal login. Instead of telling you that the Member ID is already in use, it will add the second Device ID to your Device List. Then the points from both computers are assigned to your Member ID.

I do not have 2 computers, but if you have questions, there are many members who can walk you through it. Just describe your systems if you need any help.

Best Wishes,
Lawrence
