I just installed WCG and everything went smoothly, but all it's saying, now, is "Error: No Work Available To Process". Any reason as to why? Is this something wrong with my computer or what?

Hello HitmanDante,
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=19314 This is the second such query. Post the messages in your Messages tab and we will try to figure it out. Lawrence |

Did you check the option "If there is no work available for my computer for the projects I have selected above, please send me work from another project (this option only applies to BOINC agents)." ??
----------------------------------------Did you select any of the projects to crunch for?

3/29/2008 6:29:21 PM|World Community Grid|URL: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/; Computer ID: not assigned yet; location: (none); project prefs: default Do you have any communications between BOINC and WCG? Did you allow BOINC through your firewall on port 80 and port 443?

Uh, not quite sure. I mean, I've got another project running and that's working. WCG processes are not running for some reason, though.

WCG uses secure HTTP for connection. It doesn't use port 80 but the secure port 443 instead. So you need to make sure BOINC gets through your firewall on that port as well.

Yea, it's allowed to go through those ports, but no change
