Confusing Message from BOINC Manager

Hi Folks,

Two hours ago, I received the message in BOINC Manager "Message from server: Project is temporarily shut down for maintenance". At present, I have no work to process. Any comments?

Re: Confusing Message from BOINC Manager

(1) That illustrates why it is usually worth having a little extra work in the queue to allow for short interruptions. I usually maintain about 3 days worth. Set it in BOINC manager, advanced view, "advanced" on the upper bar, preferences, network usage tab, additional work buffer [3.0] days (max 10).
(2) Try again. That was probably soon after the 1200 UTC statistics for members was busy doing something intensive. The evening run after 0000 UTC does both member and team statistics. Sunday mornings can also be impacted by backup activity. There could also have been some actual maintenance or short term outage. Who knows? If it is something planned, it should have a reference in the read only messages at the top of the forum.

It works for me (time is local CDT):
