I built a quad computer

I recently purchased a motherboard with a quad processor(q6600). I installed Ubuntu 64 bit operating system on in and download Boinc. I waited 3 days and had only one result from it. I found that most of them were being returned with a code 22 error. So I installed windows xp(32 bit) operating system on it and again downloaded Boinc. It has been running as I expected it to since. I have 5 computers with windows xp and 2 with Ubuntu. I have reviewed my result status and found that the Ubuntu computers are the only ones that are experiencing errors. Is the problem with Boinc or with Ubuntu? The problem I have is that I already installed windows xp on another computer so I will have 30 days to figure out this problem.

Re: I built a quad computer

You are running a 64-bit OS, and WCG uses 32-bit apps. Try installing the 32-bit libraries on Ubuntu. Open a terminal window and enter the following:

sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
