it took quite a long while but I managed to break into the top 1000 finally both with points and results!!!!!!

---------------------------------------- I'm still working towards a lowly 30K credits. Not bad for 5 months of BOINCing with one machine. Cracked 400K points a week or so ago and hoping to break the 3000 rank this weekend (or soon). |

 Wooo-hoo!  Yee-haa! Finally! Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) (Rank) 1:145:01:46:17 (#4,478) Points Generated (Rank) 415,831 (#2,998) Results Returned (Rank) 1,676 (#3,401) Given that it's taken a hair over six weeks to get from 3100 to below 3000, I don't expect to see the other side of 2000, much less 2500, especially since five months ago, I was breaking thru 4200. 1200 in five months sounds fast but things have really slowed here lately. Of course, this time last year plus a couple of weeks before, I was breaking the 5000 "barrier". Looks like from here on out, it's gonna be point milestones. At least BOINCStats shows me in the top ten for single hosts (for those that don't hide that info). Yea, this and two and a half bits will buy me a can of soda. Still, hopefully, it might encourage others with just one little machine to hang in there and keep crunching! It's the crunching that matters! I just checked the numbers and relized that today July 4, 2006 our grid hit the 100 year mark on total cpu time. Kind of cool considering we have only been running a few months.

I want to congratulate the HOMEBREWERS team for taking a couple of minutes out of their busy beer schedules to crunch
