So I run two computers 24/7 crunching DDDT (because it performs the best). Unfortunately, one of my machines has ceased getting DDDT workunits and now gets FAAH and HCC units exclusively. Is there a reason for this? Is there no new work?

So far picked up from reading other threads we're in a transition period where the short DDDT are run down and on Monday the long, new version is launched packing like 4x the amount of work (rather, 4 or more of the old short jobs in one). A beta was run last week to test these *longer* work units.
----------------------------------------This is done to increase the capacity overall WCG, which is *not* bandwidth limited! Like you, others and me too have been getting 'alternate' work as per the design of the system.

Those short work units ran so well on my machines! I guess it's back to fighting AIDS and Cancer. Dengue, you're on your own (at least until you shorten your work units again!). |

Just follow some of the Supplemental Graphs in the Start Here forum or compute from the project stats the daily averages is 'shortest' is your thing.
----------------------------------------(got 1 repair copy of a DDDT job at 5am, while sleeping, and lots of 'alternate' messages, so think we're through and have to wait for the techs to load the new work. Or something is awry (?))

There is plenty of short DDDT workunits available. In fact 7,812 results have been sent out in just the past two hours (1 per second).
At what time were you getting those messages? |
